About Us - Dr. Deirdre O'Boyle Hooper
 Dr. Hooper is a third generation physician. She was raised in West Monroe, Louisiana and attended Louisiana Tech University. She attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine, and did her medical internship and dermatology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. After her residency, Dr. Hooper participated in a mentorship program focusing on vitiligo and on skin of color with Dr. Pearl Grimes in Los Angeles. Dr. Hooper is a board certified dermatologist with expertise in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. She is a member of the Louisiana Dermatological Society, on the board of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and on advisory Boards of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons. Dr. Hooper and her husband, Christian, live in New Orleans with their two children, Gibbs and Katherine.
