Our Policies
Welcome to our practice! Thank you for choosing us for your dermatologic care. We founded Audubon Dermatology in June 2006 with the mission of providing exceptional care in a superior environment. Our staff is here for you and strives to make every aspect of your experience run smoothly. As physicians, we maintain our professional skills by consistantly availing ourselves of educational opportunities, making sure that we are up to date with all of the most current research and treatment. We love taking care of our patients.

We want to review our office policies with you. Please read carefully:

Running our small business is crucial in keeping ourselves available to you. We accept most insurances and submit insurance claims as part of our service to you: There are many, many insurance plans and each one is different in its reimbursement procedures. Our office financial policy is that all co-pays, co-insurances, and deductibles are collected at the time of service.

If you have not met your deductible, you are responsible for paying the contracted amount of your fees. We may collect a percentage of charges at the time of services. You will receive a bill for any balance of your contracted fees. You will be responsible for paying any balance in a timely manner. If you have no insurance then the full amount of fees will be collected at the time of service. All cosmetic and laser procedure fees are collected in full at the time of service.

It is important for you to understand that there are two components to medical fees: evaluation fees and procedure/surgical fees. Your insurance company considers all procedures(example: biopsy, freezing, etc...) applicable to your surgical deductible if your insurance plan requires you to satisfy one.

If you miss your appointment several times without proper notification, you will be subject to discharge from Audubon Dermatology at the discretion of the office. Any credit you have may be forfeited. Any behavior deemed unacceptable by the physicians or staff may also result in discharge from Audubon Dermatology.

Again, thank you for choosing us, and please call us at any time if you have any questions. It has been our experience that following an examination, patients frequently have questions regarding their condition or treatment. Do not hesitate to contact the office if you are still uncertain as to the nature of your condition or the course of treatment that has been recommended for you. We are here to help you. Please let us know at any time if there is anything we can do for you.
