What is Silhouette InstaLift®?

Silhouette InstaLift® is an FDA-approved, minimally invasive procedure where dissolvable sutures are placed under the skin to re-contour your face and neck for a more youthful appearance. Over time, the sutures will naturally be absorbed by your body while stimulating new collagen production. This in office procedure is completed in about 45 minutes and provides immediate lift. Your results will continue to improve with time as your collagen is stimulated. Final results are typically seen 3-6 months after your procedure.

Why Silhouette InstaLift®?

Traditional facelift surgery can result in a pulled look which does not move naturally. With Silhouette InstaLift®, you can achieve natural restoration of your cheek curvature and jawline that will have your friends wondering what has you looking so refreshed. Silhouette InstaLift® is safe, effective, and FDA approved. Once the absorbable threads instantly lift and contour your face, the patented product stimulates your own natural collagen to anchor these results for approximately 1-3 years.

How is a Silhouette InstaLift® procedure performed?

Audubon DermatologyDr. Hooper and Dr. Jackson use local anesthetic and a small needle to puncture the skin, allowing placement of a cheek, jawline or neck lifting thread. New medical technology allows absorption of the lifting thread just like any internal suture. This means no permanent suture material remains in your face as your body’s own collagen locks the InstaLift effect in place. Silhouette InstaLift® is minimally invasive, does not require general anesthesia or sedation and does not leave scars. That means little, if any, down time for you. You can even drive yourself home after the procedure. Most patients experience only limited bruising, redness or swelling.

What is recovery like after Silhouette InstaLift®?

Recovery after Silhouette InstaLift® is minimal. You may experience bruising, tenderness, swelling, and mild tissue pulling at procedure sites that usually resolves within one to two weeks.
